I read on internet that if i turn my pc or mobile into a web server , such as xampp , laragon or kwp
if i have another device connected to the same wifi, it should also be able to connect to that site
however i tried using pc AND android mobile to host a site and both device cant connect to each others server on the same wifi
i troubleshoot by checking ip, nothing wrong with the ip and port i used
also turned off the firewall and created inbound rule, didnt work, still cant access
am i doing anything wrong or the article i read is bullshitting?

You can access the web server with its LAN IP. Or if you have split DNS, you can access with a domain name both locally and remotely. For the latter, you will need dynamic dns and port forwarding configured.
