Hi all
I have an old alienware gaming desktop pc from 2014 and I have not made any changes to the specs since then except to change the graphics card which went kaput 2 years ago.
I do a lot of my graphic video editing and work on the same pc and store a lot of work files but also use the pc for gaming.
I wanted to find out what specs in 2021 are neccessary for a versatile desktop with good graphics card and minimum specs for ram and speed as i hate the lag my pc has now as it takes a very long time to load on start up and does lag sometimes when i multi task
sUGGestions?

Have you used SSD already for main disk? Check your bottleneck right now. Use this: https://openhardwaremonitor.org/ Check utilization of CPU, RAM, GPU when gaming or doing graphic thing. EDIT: my CPU is from 2011 era and still not bottlenecking on CPU. This post has been edited by t4lruum: Mar 30 2021, 09:39 PM
