Hi, good day to you all. My name is Maki. I am facing a problem with my account. Etoro didn't request me to provide proof of ID and address, my account is verified on the spot after I answered all the registration questions...

I'm not sure will it affect my deposit and withdrawal in the future, as I know some of the Etoro user facing problem on deposit & withdraw due to didn't update or provided this documents...

I tried to ask customer service few times, but I didn't get any response from them, the tickets automatically closed and mark as 'resolved'...I tried to upload the relevant files manually, but it was unsuccessful, I couldn't upload it.

I would like to ask is Etoro user here facing the same problem? do you successfully deposited and withdrawn funds?

I submitted proof of identity and proof of address and have been withdrawing funds easily

Their customer service is the worst. I closed my eToro account. Better stick with a proper broker.

Yes, their customer service quality really worst...I was thinking if etoro still not respond to me, I might use Firstrade or TDA SG...
May I know which broker do you currently using? Do you have any recommended broker?

so far i dont see much problem when transfer out money, just sometime very lagging when want to top up.
one thing i chose etoro is the register and verification fast , also can buy the stock in fraction min $50 per order

May I know do you submitted proof of identity and proof of address for review?
I'm not sure whether my account is really verified, there is no response from the customer service...

one word... careful ya... been there... done that..

was into binary trading many years ago.. and saw their results was inconsistent when compared to other platform...
so i stop using them... just seems to be rigged at times.. just my personal opinion and experience.. there should be other better platform there now providing what you need.

I'm using iTrade but only because my main bank account is with CIMB. The only ones I've used are eToro and iTrade. I didn't like eToro so much.

Their spread is actually very high if you compare it with other platforms. I've noticed this in particular with popular tickers.

To OP, I've done quite abit of research regarding this cause I was looking at my options available not too long ago. I'd recommend Trading212 if you want fractional shares. Their spreads aren't as high compared to eToro and they have better coverage of the NASDAQ and NYSE. But if you don't mind buying whole shares, I'd recommend TD or Webull. But you should know that T212 currently has paused their verification process to focus on their current clients and TD takes a very long time to process. Someone mentioned they had registered since June'20 and still hasn't got a confirmation until today. Mine has been almost 2 months, no update still. I'm currently slowly moving to Webull since eToro doesn't offer ACAT transfer and the market is down. You can use Wise to transfer funds with very low fees to fund your webull account.

better stick with establish broker..maybe Soxo..

They dont really care about the legitimacy of your personal info. Afterall they will send your money back using a 3rd party account when u request a withdrawal. In this case u risk being a money mule for money laundering activitity.
