Sorry..it's not a roadshow...it's available in the nokia shop in MidValley

Avaxx is the authorised distributor in Malaysia for Nokia, but I dont think they take from Nokia Malaysia cos they are so slow. Most prob they take from Nokia Singapore. Or maybe.... zitron is the one who is slow to do things. Because as far as I know, no Nokia Store has this phone yet, those forumers who got Avaxx set is buying from seller in Garage sales I think.

Okay, just for sharing, i got myself AVAX set N95 8GB after some running around.

Went to MidV as as thought got roadshow but end up disappointed as no roadshow there. So ask the Nokia store (above Coffee Bean) and the counter staff told me it is at RM3599! She thought that we are so stupid and will get from them haha!

So walked to Gardens Nokia Store, and according to them no stock yet and price also not known. Called AVAX and check with them, it's been told that it is already available and RRP is RM2999. I complained to AVAX the Nokia Store at MidV markup til RM3599, it's been told that many "unethical" dealers do that, so AVAX helped passed me a handphone shop contact at SS2 (shop name Atlantis, located right behind Watson and next to Wo Lai Yeh roast meat).

Before hitting to SS2, went to Nokia Store MidV again and told them the RRP is RM2999, then only the counter staff said "Oh, the price is the cost we get from AVAX, we offer RM3599 and free Nokia stereo bluetooth worth 500+" and when asked if don't want Bluetooth, the staff said "Oklah, we sell at RM2999, credit card extra 3%", by that time I am a bit pissed off so just walked away ad head straight to SS2.

At Atlantis, the price is really competitive, it's an original AVAX set and selling at RM2800 cash price. The store owner is so friendly and let me played around with the actual set for a long time before making up my mind, and later once confirmed a deal, he took out a brand new set for me

So for those wanna get the AVAX set, I highly recommend goto Atlantis at SS2 (closed on Sunday), can forget about those so called Nokia store who always mark up the price >:<

Back to the phone, i am totally in love with it! Just that at this point of time, no drivers from Nokia for Mac yet, so gotta wait til it is released.

BTW, i called up Nokia Bangsar, Curve, OneU..all not available yet.

just checked. Mine is like yours also my c and the red colour hang up button make stupid plastic noises when you press on it. Any of you have the same problem? I'm heading to a service centre soon! I'm using my phone to surf now as i type this smile.gif

i donno i dont think the backlight problem only applies to some phones.. i think all phones have the same situation but not the plastic noise la.. im gonna send it back to the seller tomorrow he say can exchange new one for me but i have to travel all the way to klang from kl T_T

Hope new firmware will fix it all...

Honestly I'm very disappointed in my phone.

Firstly I tried using the GPS today and guess what. It's not accurate at all O_O
The nav was asking me to use 3rd exit of a roundabout when I was on a highway and the whole road is straight, there wasn't any roundabouts at all. I was late for a wedding dinner because I trusted my GPS T_T(Note: I've downloaded the malaysia map via nokia map loader)

Secondly I found a bug. After you disconnect your bluetooth headset from the phone, every audio application will be played on the speaker which you listen to the phone instead of the loud one except for ringtone when others call you of course but it's a huge enough bug anywayO_O
