It seem that the price in harvey norman are real high if compare to other shop ? or does the sellman don't want reduce price ? sharp LC32A53M sell at 3499 ...

No wonder, blacks and whites are not that strong on a LG LCD, they looked a little washed out. The new Hitachi LCD is not bad but a little expensive, near RM5K and only 32 inch. They're using the IPS Alpha panel, very good viewing angles but I believe the price will go down later on, probably after CNY. Hitachi LCDs are always more expensive than the competition.
What happened? How did you know that it's a display set? I thought you could pay a deposit first, then the full amount when they have delivered the set to you.

Best Denki sell Sharp 32" A53M @ RM31xx... whereby Harvey Norman sell RM34xx, HSL sell RM3280.... so much different... i think the reason why the cost is so different is becoz warranty years.. some 2 years some more than 3 years.. what you guys think.. should i concern about the warranty?

Anyone spot it will a lower price? Is all dvd player also can plug that HDMI cable? shall i take my dvd player and went there to test..? will it make any difference... i wonder those Best Denki place allow me to do that or not...

philips has the cheapest full HD panel at the moment
but if i'm not mistaken, LG has a model out recently that matches it for price

it is true that the legend at ss2 is chaep but it ll be hard to compare when u purchased from either :

1 )JJ price will not be cheaper until JJ roadshow or JJ member day with vocuher rebate/direct rebate + discount + jusco point (for household reason le) with addiational warrenty, plus u can swap for 12 months installment

2 ) best denki roadshow or promotion with 5 year warranty + every rm 1000 direct rebate rm 100 ( if rm 10k discount rm 1k ) with 12 months installment ( the last i saw was at time square on last week good for some certain package for lcd/plasma but not applied to all brand as legend has their own margin and market cost on certain brands which they can throw out the price.....)

A panny 42" pv70 plasma offered by legend at above rm 4700+ at cash price which u can get it at bkt tinggi jusco roadshow last 2 week at rm 4749 with 2 years warranty at 12 month installments.....and if u mention JJ member day, 2 years warrenty for rm 4999 and simply throw any item at rm1 u can get jusco cash voucher at rm 500 + points to grab or if the panny sale person in good mood, u might get a free pana hdmi cable....sometimes depending on the branded sales in charge person's mood, price might be gonna cheaper like i hav seen 30% discount for hitachi plasma with 5 year warranty + voucher rebate rm 10 for every rm100 at J day in Jusco Equine park back to some time ago......
so do more window shopping first, i see some come back customer who did some survey in legend or one of the cheapest pana shop at sg way (cant remember the name), of course comparing with legend u can get it at anytime but come on, nothing comes easy when it is cheap, u need to hunt for it.....

what i can say is there are privileges for roadshow/events organized by any authorized dealer comparing to drop in outlet visitor....

and speaking of virgin factory sealed unit , have you seen some outlets (dont feel wan to name them) opened their display unit from the bottom of the box? This can make the "box" still look virgin factory sealed and thus selling off their display unit as virgin 2, alot customer do not reliaze/aware of this thing and some do not bother to check the seal on bottom and sometime it might scrapped off..... 

Well i m not JJ die fan but right now it is the best offer i could see around the town when comes to roadshow and JJ day. Believe me as i do know some brand's market cost price, u should know the best since u r one of the lcd and plasma seller, i would suggest anyone to hunt out for roadshow ( jusco , harvey and best , putting the court's, SengQ and hsl roadshow aside, they are kinda crappy ) - the 42"pv70h plasma i got for rm 4999 with 5 years warranty in JJ day + rm 500 jusco voucher (sorry to say, u can only get 2 years warranty with that price as i do have contact with someone in there) which rounded up rm 4500 with free HDMI cable which below market cost price, legend will not ever offer u below rm 4700 with additional warranty + swapping credit card/installment as i know their market cost price unless the ASP (retail price)  drop again from rm5499 to lower.....

of course there's pro and con - JUSCO suck with it's service as it is a part of the bolehland company....

Legend can give u other brand HDMI because panny HDMI now is heavily under control by it's panny marketing and only u can obtain by purchasing their package or full hd model.....
