It is not confusing la, most of the plasma from panny is manufactured in SG and getting directly from SG is cheaper than Msia, believe me alot cheaper- do drop a visit to harvey norman/courts at Suntech mall in SG, u ll know the different especially comes to margin calculation. It is not illegal to get stock from SG, u getting either directly from SG panny by registering under SG company (thrid party) but of course when something wrong, ur warranty will have to claim back to SG and some dealer will not give u the card or some will give u a fake one....
That's y u have authorized dealer and  non authorized dealer, still alot ppl forget where i belonged to, I know the margin and pls dont try to explain like a small boy 

another simple comparison which is at least relevant ( and try not to compare with IT things, do u know the distributer's price in IT field is more expensive than comparing in low yat? Thier reason is always SUPPORT AND SUPPORT.....)

WHY WOULD SONY MALAYSIA CENTER EXISTS IF U CAN GET CHEAPER MEMORY STICK (OF COURSE ORI WITHOUT SONY MSIA STICKER), CHEAPER SE HANDPHONE OR GAME CONSOLE LIKE PSP IN LOW YAT/SG WANG?

because if u buy a PSP in low yat, u will nvr see the warranty card/SG warranty card if u buy ps3 and SONY MALAYSIA will not repair a single thing for u without fee or sometimes they dont even accept to repair for u if u dont have the warranty card.

Paying extra because brands like Sony and Panny which provides technical support and warranty in Malaysia do need money while if stock getting from oversea is cheaper because some might evade the taxes or thrid party import, same reason goes to bulk order like u can see in here, why?

htkaki : do notice now panny give out 5 years warranty but of course i m not so sure bout the detail yet, heard all covered except the panel if after a year, just meant for pv80 and pv8 only....

BTW, did someone ask me regarding on the touch screen lumix camera, 560 or 520? i heard around 1399-1499,still not sure yet
