before go to your shop ... am at Harvey Norman and Best Denki ... I know Pioneer is the best Plasma ... but Kuro is the last generation (you know what I mean) ... so I have to look for alternative ... now I am interested in Samsung LA-52F81BX or Sony KLV-52X300A or Toshiba 52Z3500E

I got the source from Pioneer Sole Distributor in KL ... Pioneer stop Plasma business ... you will see LCD end this year ... after that Pioneer out from TV business ... I will get full information from the source soon

today i was at Havery Norman Mid Valley

there was a panasonic pv70 and the hitachi next to each other. both showing the same picture. the details from the panasonic just blows the hitachi away. infact it was even better than the pioneer 427. you could see the texture of the rocks etc when in the hitachi is was like muddled but what we do not know is, maybe the hitachi and pioneer has been wrongly adjusted and we do not know what input they are using.

actually this is not the first time i seen it like this. when i was buying mine i noticed it too. i still ended up with the hitachi 4500TA because I like the bezel and also the sound is better than pv70

whats up with the 2panels plasma thingi?the promoter said new generation one uses 1 panel..old one 2 panel.. something like can see double image if  viewed from the side..
and is plasma tv dying soon?why ppl wanna stop production of it?

first time I heard Panasonic better than Pioneer ... I never believe those products display in Harvey Norman or Best Denki ... cause they never fine-tune colour

I am bit worry to buy Samsung, Sony and Toshiba ... cause who can do colour calibration accurately ... so far only Pioneer has expertise ... their tools imported directly from Pioneer Japan

im thinking no matter how badly they are adjusted, it shouldnt affect what I'm seeing.

well we all know pioneer is the best so i am surprise to say the least and cannot believe it myself. but at that price point, the panasonic looks darn good at half the price

if plasma TV is dying soon then better grab one while you can.

i am not sure abt this but i went to sonystyle today in bukit tinggi klang and try to purchase the 40" X300 however they told me no more stock?
does that means new X series coming soon?

actually I quite convince by Samsung F81BX and Sony 400A series ... but Mid Valley sales person not keen to let me hands-on 

I caught in 2 minds now. Grab the current panny models on offer or wait for the new 8 series that has better blacks and better support for 1080P/24.

Pioneer is a must for my living room ... confirmed Kuro Full HD LX508G to replace my current 436

The bigger different between the sony KLV-46W400A (new) and the 46W300A is the dynamic contrastl, from 16000 to 30000 for the 400A. and I wonder in term of picture quality does that really tell the different from a layman eye.

My plan was, If I can get a really good discount for the 46W300A. my as well buy this.

this is what everyone want to hear (especially to user who has higher expectation) ... so throw 46W300A away
