Hi all, need help to identify a Japanese sci fi film I once watched.

Some of the details I remembered about the film:
- Could based on anime/game
- Set in the future
- The antagonist are shape shifting alien impersonating as human.
- The protagonist are brothers or a team (could be both, can't remember), they use some sort of "glasses" that can scan if the human really a human or it is the alien
- They go back in time using a portal/time machine to acquire some part of device that can change the outcome of the future battle against the alien.
- Back in time, one of the team member meet his younger self, a scientist working on the technology of the device they are searching.
- Involving giant robot.

That's are the details I remember about the film. It's not a great sci fi film, but it boggle my mind trying to remember the title of the film.

Nope, although it has similar plot but that's not the film. The one I watched is a more recent film, produced at least 3 4 years back.
