i'm using this mobo. yeah, it's a mobo with limited overclockability. my X2 3800+ only can be pushed to 2.45Ghz max (Vcore=1.38V, Vdim=1.95v, HT multiplier=3, CPU multiplier=10). this was limited by the lower Vdimm...
for my current oc, i decrease it to 2.4Ghz only (Vcore=1.38V, Vdim=default, HT multiplier=4, CPU multiplier=10) which give me much more stable system.

some said, this mobo can be hardmoded (solder or pencil mod, something like that) to get higher Vdimm, but dunno how to do it...

won't success i think.. though got option until 2.5v.. it's depends on hardware also..

so the best bet is vmod them like that link..
the bios updates can give some credit on oc better..
i've tried all the bios available last time.. got improvement..

still ok la.. by that time.. no other AM2 mobo around.. only crappy MSI.. and those super expensive board..

Already a lot of people shout out d tongue.gif
Should be last year i think. Those users claimed that ASUS site is cheating them as the site stated that vdimm supported is 2.4v if not mistaken.
But in reality, the vdimm supported only 1.95v.
Some people even said that this thing can be fixed by BIOS. But until now, u know la laugh.gif

alot had been covered in AM2 OC V1 thread.. thus dedicated topic no longer necessary...

this is among the first AM2 mobo in our market.. that time not many shifted to AM2.. and becoz of it's limitation in oc no further discussion can be done...
currently alot of AM2 mobo flooded in our market and good in oc too...
