Looks quite impressive. As i expected, the links are narrower than HTT, and as noted the specification seems to allow it to scale to a high speed serial bus in the future (optical interconnects ftw). The RAS features especially seem much better than HTT. Their 2-hop coherency protocol looks clever. Other than that, it's hard to say very much until there are actual implementations and real data. But definitely it looks like they made this to last a long, long time. |
