Kwong Tong Cemetery is the largest and oldest cemetery located in Bukit Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


It covers an approximate area of 333 acres of land and is the final resting place of many notable pioneers in Malaysia.


In 2007, the 112-year-old cemetery was named a Heritage Park.


So huge land.

How many storey???

Not sure still under construction, maybe 3-4 storey only but quite big. There are going to have swimming pool, restaurants.

There is also a " ghost cave" ( this one has been there long time already ", where there are ghostly figures and eerie sound effect. Never been there but the Indon workers there told me its scary. They work around cemetery everyday and when they say its scary, I think must be very scary. Located just next to the building where ashes are housed

Well, for those that had already used and want to relocate to other sites,
the used niche/burial plot, we don't re-use anymore.

Unless special reason, we can arrange for lo. If you are thinking to resell, then it is impossible la.

Found this topic while researching about Nirvana.

One of my parents just passed away and recently just got a burial plot in Nirvana Memorial Garden Semenyih. This is the newer extension land, the old one called Nirvana Memorial Park Semenyih. Don't get confused.
Just sharing my experience.
I have engaged directly with Nirvana and thru the bereavement service's Nirvana agent.

Nirvana quoted me more expensive packages for Double Burial Plot, the cost is more than 100K excluding 6K Maintenance Fees and 5-10K Backwall Fees.

The bereavement service's Nirvana agent, quote me a cheaper option, they called it Packaging Plot, all in one Double Burial Plot cost only RM57k net, with all Maintenance Fees included. I have told the price might increase 1K per year. This option is more affordable compare with the one quote by Nirvana. But this Packaging plot is only available for instant case and will not be available for pre-planning. If only 1 Burial Plot is used, and another will be only use when another half is decreased, need to pay the service feed to drill the hole and also add the date on the tombstone, based market price rate. now is RM1800.


I would say the environment for Nirvana Memorial Garden is nice and better than expected, the feng shui is good and environment is nice, just another Cameron Highland in Selangor.
My parent should love this place as their resting place.
