Yup exactly, because this is user strength driven, you can control the amount of force the ball will exert on you.

There is only two ways you can hurt yourself with this

1) Play too much and refuse to rest, next day your arm sure very 'pedas', like how u feel after playing excessive sports without warming up

2) Do a sudden, double handed "burst" spin, and then right after that tired and not being able to control the ball

well, its kinda like using a dumbbell
use it wrongly, it could hurt you
but unlike a dumbbell, its 'weight' changes, depending on how strong u spin it
thats why its a good arm exercising tool

With the powerball, you control how fast the thing spin. In the video, that person is exerts all his energy to spin it, thats why he shouted. It isnt the thing that spins by itself and cause him pain, rather, he is trying to spin as hard as possible.

If you understand the science behind how this thing works, then you would understand that its safe, unless you decide to throw the ball at someone's face. But unfortunately, doesnt seem like you do.
