just wondering how many IPO applications can one account holder submit?? thanks in advance

1 account/IC - 1 IPO application/company

1 account/IC - multiple IPO application Companies (Ctos, Haily etc.)

Basically... U can apply once only for CTOS 😏

Hi sir.. need your clarification here.. I'm new to this IPO thingy but not new in investment as I mostly trade forex all these while..

My case is, yesterday I purchased 60 lots of CTOS IPO thru maybank2u and when I tried to top up my IPO purchase to another 90 lots thru maybank2u today, it rejected my transaction due to duplicate application error message something like that

Then I tried to purchase 90 lots of CTOS IPO from cimb clicks and it went thru.. successful.. I'm using the same MPlus CDS acc number that I used to purchase thru maybank2u btw.. as I only have one CDS acc.. so total investment is 150 lots..

Like this can ah? Any fellow investors here used to do the same thing before? And did your IPO application get approved?

tl;dr version:

1. Purchased 60 lots thru maybank2u on 30/6/21, using MPlus CDS number

2. Hands got itchy, and top up investment to another 90 lots thru maybank2u today (1/7/21) but got rejected due to duplicate application error

3. Tried to purchase 90 lots via cimb clicks, and use same MPlus CDS number, it went thru, transaction is successful..

I wonder whether they will approve my IPO application or not.. just trying to gauge the outcome if you have the same experience like me.. purchasing IPO from two different bank using the same CDS number..

A PERSON WHO SUBMITS MULTIPLE INTERNET SHARE APPLICATIONS IN HIS OWN NAME OR BY USING THE NAME OF OTHERS, WITH OR WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT, COMMITS AN OFFENCE UNDER SECTION 179 OF THE CMSA AND IF CONVICTED, MAY BE PUNISHED WITH A MINIMUM FINE OF RM1,000,000 AND A JAIL TERM OF UP TO 10 YEARS UNDER SECTION 182 OF THE CMSA.

then confirmed reject...
why u want do that... since u already tried with M2U... so u should already get the hint...
AND your application went thru in CIMB, bacause "they" don't know u already apply in M2U...
when both your M2U & CIMB Clicks application goes to issuing house for balloting.. there, they see your double application... so straight reject

what BS is this...
how to apply without consent??
needed IC number, Bank & CDS Account information.... which only the owner knows it... unless that fellow go publish all the details & access for public viewing

anyway....

Aiyoo.. first time buying IPO mah.. I thought can buy multiple entries like in forex..

So my another questions:

1. Will I get arrested for submitting multiple application like the guy above me said or they simply reject my IPO application?

2. Can I rectify this by withdrawing/cancelling one of the application, possibly the maybank2u one?

3. How to cancel IPO application?
