I would like to purchase a house from my bro.
Provided both of us have time to settle all procedures by our own without need an agent, may i know what's the step we should begin with?

Anyway, i need a bank loan for that.

Get a lawyer.

It's a lot of steps & document need you to sign.

If you need a loan then better go through a lawyer.

Yes, will definitely find a lawyer, just don't want to go through agent since not worth to pay the agent fee. Is that possible?

How about loan application? Can i do by my own? Need to get the banker valuation right?

Sure no need any agent. Just find a reputable lawyer / well experience one.

I bought my house direct from owner. We just appoint our own lawyer. Then money talks.

Definitely. You pay them right? A good one should be well versed with the hurdles of selling / buying a house. Dealing with city council, district land, banks, TNB, Air Selangor, Indah Water etc can be a big pain in the a!s.

One example, my house TNB, water, MBSA still under previous owner name . Our lawyer already submitted all forms multiple time, still nothing (that was 16 years ago). At the end I told my layer, forget about it, I'll pay my due bills accordingly. Hahaha

Find a lawyer specialized in conveyancing ..
