Nicely put maknok,
Most agents in the business are just trying to make money, thus recommending all the funds they can think of... Let me put it this way... Your agent probably IS NO BETTER THAN YOU in investing... Do not just listen and agrees to what they say... Ask them simple questions... What is unit trust/ mutual funds? What is NAV? Probably they cant even answer you... So, think twice before deciding because only YOU knows what you want... and your money is hard earned money...
If those agents cant even answer you those basic question, might as well you drop off the idea to purchase from them. Most agents in the business are just trying to make money, thus recommending all the funds they can think of... Not every agents is noobie or greedy as that, I suppose there are many excellent agent out there as well.
Most of the agents do not provide after sales service, this is where I hate the most.
Howerver, I am very satisfied of my agent so far, he will keep me updating from time to time.
