Money market instrument is the lowest risk of investment at this kind of time. It offers reasonable ROI with low risk. Investors have been flocking to gold, money market, short term treasury bills and even low risk government bond.

Not just that particular fund is affected. Most of the equity funds are significantly impacted by the financial turmoil.

Kindly ask your future doubts in the existing PM thread. Thank you.

You can switch to other fund, maybe bond funds. Last time fareast earn alot one, should sell when the price is high.
*
If know the future, this won't be happened at the first place.

Switching now will incur more losses even though bond funds have lower risks.

Unit trust is meant for medium term investment; recommended period is 3 years. So judge yourself.

Yes, you can do that. Switch to MMF is free but please don't expect high or handsome return.

Switching back to equity fund later will be charged RM 25.

All the funds are pretty cheap now. It's like super mega sale at discounted price way lower from initial price. Do some study, pick the right fund, hold for 2 and 3 years.
