Dam ... I switched my PCSF at the wrong date. NAV was a little high!
*
Don't worry mate. As history shows, most funds are able to rise back up to their highs, but of course you need time.
Now, that's why UT should be used as a long-term investment smile.gif

I still have faith in my funds, so I'll keep them until market stabilises.
Now is the time for me to fish for clients, with most of the NAVs so low now tongue.gif

No faith also no choice. Now switch earn less... So wait lor smile.gif

So how's sale? How's the experience?
*
The experience is great! But I am more focused on recruiting now, rather than doing everything myself.
The use of leverage is better than doing everything alone, plus you have more companions.
Personally for sales, I have done a few cases thanks to my mom and dad, for their support biggrin.gif

QUOTE(David83 @ Nov 21 2007, 08:31 PM)
I'm considering to topup or buy PCIF. hmm.gif
*
I would prefer topping up to buying, as PCIF is still new, so the portfolio is not fully built up yet, whilst the older funds are already in the market.
So, it'll jump more when the market rebounds.
But the fund managers for PCIF might have a different strategy for it, or maybe they could finish up the portfolio in less than a month, since the stock market is very low now smile.gif

QUOTE(dzi921 @ Nov 21 2007, 08:45 PM)
If you recruit, do you get overriding commission?
*
As with any other networking business, yes we do get overriding commision and a few other bonuses.
This is to reward the recruiters for the support we give to our downlines smile.gif

U get priority service as Mutual Gold...all ur transaction will be faster than other ppl.

All transaction fees & switching fees are waived, free insurance, free will writing.....a lot more

The most important thing is, it can provide u with better return by investing in Unit Trust smile.gif
*
I think you should elaborate further on this bold part to avoid misunderstanding.
It does not guarantee better returns, but you will enjoy more as a Mutual Gold with all the benefits.
As Mutual Gold, you can enjoy special discounts as stated in the page Dzi921 suggested whe you dine, so you are actually saving.

If the reduced service charge is going to happen, well, I might want to wait for new funds launched next year. tongue.gif

Yes, if it is going to happen. Until then, we shall keep an eye on the decision upstairs smile.gif

If that happens, imagine how much I would be buying the new launching for, with the reduced service charge + commision tongue.gif

That was why I went out of that fund long ago.
Property sector is not that strong now.
I even have news that property prices are going to slump soon smile.gif

Wow, this is fantastic work by chidori. Looks like she keeps all the daily NAVs. Not many investors do that smile.gif

Looking forward for my SEA funds to outperform tomorrow smile.gif
The markets seem still fresh, outperforming China markets today.

That is because of Sime's relisting.
Most of the local funds are concentrated on Sime smile.gif

It should last a few days IMHO.
So, if you have local fund or funds with a lot of local exposure, you should gain.
My investor invested in PIDF last Monday, now almost made the return for my client smile.gif

Yeah, noticed that too. Local funds ruled the table tongue.gif
I am hoping for my SEA and Asia funds to gain another 1% is enough.
Should be able to recover most of my lost profits smile.gif

The funds declaring higher distributions are making it look cheaper, as ITTIKAL has just been reopened, giving out 10.0 sen distribution will make marketing of the fund easier.
Distribution is nothing to me, but I see distribution as a way of entering the fund at a lower price. This is my concept of distribution.
I would like to accumulate as many units as possible, and over the long term, I could actually grow my investment higher than the rest.

I guess it's time to lock my profit on PBADF this week.
I already gained back my 15% profit, don't want to lose it again.
More volatility could be expected.

The coming December 11th FOMC seems really irresistible.
Still have to hold my fund for 2 more days tongue.gif
By the way, I have almost gained back my previous profit, just 3%+ more only, really tempting.
And with my PBADF gaining so much momentum ahead of the SEA boost, definitely a good time to keep it at least until year end.
