 Is Kirin 980 still relevant?

i'm looking at Mate 20 x and its a two year old model.. using Kirin 980 chipset, i'm just wondering is it still ok to use... or is it considered slow already ?

I'm still using my mate 20 pro till today no lag issue pun since first day I bought it.

Mate 20 pro still going strong

EMUI 11 excepted to deliver on end of March.

Pretty sure it's strong also, because it depends on the UI in terms of optimizing the chip's performance.

Mate 10 as spare.. Kirin 970.. lag is almost non existent.. so I think 980 sure no problem

My honor view 20 with Kirin 980 bought 2 years ago still going strong till today, little to no lag at all
