If you think Ming court dim sum in ipoh is good, you are beyond help. It's worse than foh san.

Kuchai lama golden sun

Those in Chinese restaurants that serve wedding dinners and hotels usually only start around 10am on weekends and 11am on weekdays.

Only been to a few. Think Oriental Pavillion at Jaya 33 is pretty good, and the one at Bangsar South is also not bad.

I usually just go to Jin Xuan at PJ Old Town. Usually decent fare, nothing amazing.

Ipoh ones I used to like Ming Court but haven't been there in 10+ years. Penang I used to go to Tai Tong at Lebuh Cintra.

It's really one man's meat is another's poison. Some recommended by friends I really hate. Others I like, they hate.

Just go around and try a few and see which one suits you.

Can try out yuan garden in puchong. Though they have raised their price a little recently and service isn’t as good as it was before due to staff cut

I am personally from Ipoh but I don't eat Ming court. And I can say Jin xuan and foo Hing are not up to my Ipoh standards

Best quality dim sum is in Singapore, no joke.... from hotels to restaurant chains eg imperial.

In PJ / KL, all taste about the same and no variety. Bored with usual menu ... looking for extra items so I tend to like ORIENTAL group which have extra items eg. prawn noodles, siew yuk / char siew, beef tomato rice, etc.

Char siew pau best is Jin xuan, elsewhere forgettable.

Anyone from Klang? Used to go Tmn Rashna, now go back to Jin Xuan at PJ Old Town. Fui Loi kuchai Lama not as tasty as before.

I have tried both halal and non halal place dim sum.

Dolly dimsum is one of the best for halal place and taste better than some of famous cheap non halal place. and their branch is easily located.
