Hi everyone.
My father is doing 2nd session of radiotherapy. After each session, he will feel very painful, almost stay awake during night and need to take tramadol (stronger than Panadol) to reduce the pain. There is no nurse or doctor that my mum can ask for info about this as the personnel doing this therapy will not come out to meet my parents (this is what my mum told me).
Besides taking Tramadol, is there anything my dad can try to reduce his pain and any supplements that can he take after completed whole set of radiotherapy?
TIA.
May God bless your fatherSome patients may experience some side effects during radiotherapy, but some patients will experience side effects after treatment. I can tell you that there is
no way to reduce pain, and even if it does, it may not help the patient. Everyone's physique is different, so no one can guarantee that it will be effective.
However, I will share my personal experience and hope to help your father complete the whole treatment.
