Ha ha ha I don't think so fast lah.. 10 months. There are many who became official YouTuber in few months only.

But YouTube give you 12 months to accumulate the 4000 watch hour and 1000 subscribers. Which I think quite reasonable for ordinary people.

I use You Cut app. Normally resolution is 1080.

Then, my frens cautioned me that smartphone might drain the battery very fast. I am still undecided. Maybe I could hire part time computer expert to do it. hahahaha...


just one more question. What is the best way to gain more viewership, like your youtube popularity? Need to send videos to lots of friends? through contact numbers? or are there other ways?

Cheap phone make the process of editing slow. So you might waste your time doing it on cheap phone. In addition, the quality might drop. Just my opinion. Anyway, if your video is short, then no problem to use cheap phone. Short here means less than 5 minutes.

Several ways to promote :
- yes thru WhatsApp or Telegram. But don't too much lah. Your contact would not like it
- thru FB, Linked in and similar social media
- join FB groups that related to your video topic and share it there. Not too much lah. Nanti the Admin remove you
- improve your video description and keywords. So that it appears in search
-respond to comments for your video
- good if you do not depend too much on sub-for-sub.they are not genuine viewers.
- overall, it all depends on your video contents. Good content will attract more viewers.

I think my current handphone might not up to the task for video processing, as it was passed down to me by my brother many years ago. I guess I have to find a secondhand budget laptop, with decent processing power to do my video. Can't ask too much since money is tight at the moment....So make use whatever I could find/afford.

Yes, I understand your meaning of "not too much", becoz viewers may be put-off that I promote too much of my youtube videos. It's like putting it in-the-face of people. I would be offended, if I were them. hahaha.

Your suggested ways to promote Y/T has given me better understanding now, and will consider applying them in the future.

Indeed, making videos aren't easy as it seem, and much harder to attract and sell Y/T videos to viewers.
