try "dsdt pacth gui".It is the easiest way to patc your dsdt without putting hand on dsdt thumbup.gif

DSDT GUI Patcher is quite limited. Try DSDTSE instead

I just completed installing on Vostro 1520 using retail CD method / chameleon method.
so far all working except wake from sleep and fan seems to be running 100% speed.

I suggest using retail CD (Rm109 at applestore) method as you can learn the process and the ability to upgrade to higher version as sonn as they are updated.

Here are some of my suggestion u can try ur MacOs QE/CI is it enabled. In Mac of QE/CI not enable (aka unknow graphic card) QE and CI cannot be enable
you can test it buy running front row if front frow cannot run mean ur QE/CI not enable

to Enable your QE/CI is every easy u can use a efi graphic patcher =D
correct me if i m wrong =D
p.s. i used hackintosh for several years d  rclxm9.gif

most of the cards now don't really need efi patcher. a GraphicsEnabler=Yes with Chameleon in the boot plist is sufficient.
I have to say hackintosh eveolved very well over the years

i already downloaded the iso below

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5401125/SN..._32_64_MBR_GUID

and then to install the hackintosh we must setting the bios 1st

sata to ahci and so on

but in my bios setting there is no sata configuration

i already searched google that there is some patched bios but nothing for my mobo

my specs are

amd athlon x3 440

asus m4n68t-m v2

4gb ram

500gb HD

amd radeon HD6850

google to check if your current hardware already running ahci. if it's still running IDE mode, too bad, your hardware does not support hackintosh.

Silly nooby question but...

I currently have Win7 installed, if i install SL in another partition now, i will be able to dualboot both OSes and  win7 is untouched without any use of special boot loaders rite??
*

dual boot is possible but you will need the special boot loader to load the EFI. without EFI you cannot even boot the SL CD.
