QUOTE(mercindustries @ Nov 27 2007, 08:56 PM) are you installing leopard or tiger? for leopard you gotta do a post-patch to install the bootloader (that is for me using brazilmac's patched dvd, i'm not sure bout ToH's DVD cause i never tried them out.) I would recommend you using pc_efi bootloader, makes your hackintosh run on vanilla kernels & kext i'm installing leopard from brazilmac's dvd..after the installation i proceeded to run the batch file to do the patching needed.. but after that it refuses to boot at all.. |

just attempted to hackintosh my PC rig again using this guide here
it managed to boot all the way into the grey screen with the apple logo loading.. however after few seconds it stalled and came out with a dark grey prompt and a power icon telling me to reboot my pc and contact the manufacturer.. Here's my pc specs: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2x 2GB Kingston HyperX DDR2 Sapphire ATI Radeon 4850 Gigabyte EP45-UD3P p/s tried to use EmpireEFI as well.. but it kernel panicked about not finding the AHCI drivers p/s2 do I need to flash the motherboard bios with the one made by Cartri?
