Is that essential to disable the second processor core during installation? I've got some weird CPU error though.

Darn, my Mac OS X 10.4.8 installation is "halted by root" though my laptop is listed as supported, what does that actually mean?

I got some "CPU halted" error when I install 10.4.8 JaS on my Sony vaio C13G laptop, I got the same error in VMware workstation 6 as well (eventhough I've disabled the 2nd processor core).
My specs as follows: Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz 1GB DDR2 RAM Intel GMA950 Graphics Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit Could you guys help me out? Thanks in advance. |
