Ok. I got it working onb my 5920G Acer Laptop, but the Wifi adapter doesn't work.

Is there any Mac capable USB WiFi adapter available that you have tested with? I checked the OSX86 forums, and they gave very conflicting opinions........

Yay! Typing my first post using my Hackintosh!

I bought the Netgear WG111 USB stick and it works OOB using Kalway's 10.5.2. I re-formatted everything and it seems absolutely PERFECT now.

Will be keeping this OSX until I'm sick of it!

Only sometimes, the keyboard can go off suddenly. Anyone had this problem before?

No matter.

BTW.... I installed it using the "vanilla" install.... should I try downloading the new 10.5.3 update?

Oooooh. Thanks for the advice. Sticking to 10.5.2 then until I can get a new boot.

But so far, I'm happy with my Hackintosh until next year when I can hopefully afford a proper iMac.

I'm still keeping the hackintosh on my Laptop because I love the looks of people when they see me using OSX on my Acer tongue.gif

Has anyone manage to get their headphones out working for a built-in Intel Hi-def audio chip?
I followed so many guides and nothing works.

Running off iPC 10.5.6 on an Acer Aspire 5920G laptop.

I actually had to go out and buy and Asus Xonar X1 USB Soundcard to use my headphones. sad.gif

You know, when I bought my Acer 5920G, it was roughly the same spec as the Macbook Pro at the time. But now, after 2 years of service, I might have to replace my Hackbook Pro with a proper Macbook Pro, mostly because almost all the laptops I've seen with roughly the same specs as the Macbook Pro, is either the same price and weighs a crapload more then the 15" MBP.

So unless Alienware releases their 15" in Malaysia soon, looks like my Hackintosh days will be over and move onto a REAL mac sad.gif

Damn. After trying to get my broadcom 4321 wifi card working, it's STILL not detected. Worse, I broke my Hackintosh installing updates, and now have to reformat everything.
DAMN!

Guys, need some help.
Basically have an EFI-X system up and running......... all except the Bluetooth.
I use a MSI BToes 2.0 dongle (running CSR) and is detected upon plugging in.
Problem is, I can't seem to connect more then 1 device.
I tried to pair a Mac Wireless Keyboard and a Mighty Mouse, but to no avail. I can connect one, but when paired with another, it just wouldn't pair with the other (eg, pair keyboard, mouse doesn't pair. Pair Mouse, Keyboard doesn't pair)

Anyone can help me out?
