anyone how to fix booting problem?

I installed OSx86 on my old Dell Inspiron 8200 and the process went smooth until the booting part. It stuck at the bluescreen with a cursor after the Apple Logo / \ part

any idea how to fix it??

After you type -v -f, it still won't boot to desktop? You might want go to single mode by typing -x
