Where do you guys get the necessary 3rd party drivers for individual components? Can the OSes on each partition (Windows and OSX) view the other partition's files?

Ahh, okay thanks. smile.gif Just checked out the OSX86 10.5.1 package. Doesn't it come with the required Intel drivers for most of the hardware which Apple uses in their Macs? Won't they work in an OSX86 setup?

Hmm..... Then is it mentioned anywhere whether OSX86 is optimized for Intel/AMD processors, or ATi/nVidia cards? Also, say that I'm dual-booting XP and Vista at the moment, if I ad another FAT32 partition to install OSX86 on, will the Vista boot manager still maintain control, or do I need something else to manage booting from any of the 3 partitions?

err... you mean now you want install osx86? once you install osx86, there won't be FAT32. ok? mac uses HFS+. Well, i not so sure now it solve or not. From what i know (last time i try), dualboot vista and osx86 will have a little problem. You have to fix it. The troublesome is vista part. biggrin.gif For me, i prefer to use darwin bootloader. More information on how to dualboot/tri-boot, go insanelymac forum.

Processor? Of cos it is Intel punya C2D or SSE3. Graphic card? Both also not much different. As long as that card can get QE/CI, then it works best. Btw, don't think that your superb old card can get the best result la.  rolleyes.gif

No FAT32 but HFS+..... Hmm, so is that where VMware comes into the picture? Would you mind pointing out the problems with dual-booting Vista and Leopard in explicit detail? Just so I know what to expect.... Anyways, thanks for the reply to my questions, mate. I've actually been looking out for good bargains for the 88 series since Day 1, I do realize that my GCard is trash... tongue.gif
