a nice fellow redirect me to this thread tongue.gif I was in the middle deciding buying a new PC or a mac mini see my post here, after reading for a few hours I see some sucessfull story about this so called HackPro laugh.gif, So I might give a shot, my current target is to get either Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33Ghz or Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz which is under my budget (RM2500) question is I can't figure out which motherboard to use tongue.gif ah yes also planning to have ATI HD4670 for GC, any recomendation for motherboard for my HackPro setup?

and will the Leopard Install DVD came with My macbook pro can be use for installation?

PS: this might spoil my plan to buy a mac mini lol

They got plenty of recommendation hardware which is compatible with OS X or at least got the KEXT so it could supported by OS X

thanks, but was thinking that finding sugestion from ppl here that have successfully install a working "HackPro" biggrin.gif with localy available hardware that can be bought at lowyat plaza biggrin.gif

guess i have to forget about using hackintosh coz I end up buying HD4770 can't find any cheap nvdia gfx tongue.gif

erm I wish buyed Nvdia card last week I should not have buyed ATI HD4770 ( which is not supported) guess time to hunt for some decent nvdia card
