I'm using DLINK USB dongle (DWA-140) for my WIFI and it works with the software that comes with it.

Try myHack + retail disk into 8GB USB drive and boot/install from the USB drive. Or probably use the ES2L kit which actually use myHack to the retail disk image.

To use myHack, you need to have access to Mac. I don't have any idea if any method of installing SL by USBdrive that doesn't require Mac. If you've SL retail DVD, you can try iBoot (I know prasys won't be happy smile.gif).

Aha, found modUSB, I haven't try this so I don't know if it works and how well it works:

In another word, the best motherboard for hackintosh is .. the Gigabyte ones smile.gif I haven't got mine to 100% working though, the sleep doesn't work, speedstep is questionable.. that is on gigabyte sandy bridge mobo. But somehow, Gigabyte has many supporters in hackintosh world, so it is easy to get "support" especially with cooking the DSDT file.

Hi guys, im new in this Hackintosh world. Im trying to install it on my laptop dv3-2238TX which has a Core2Duo P8700 2.53Ghz with G 105M. I searched around and iBoot + MultiBeast seems to be the common way. Im trying to dual boot Snow Leopard with Windows 7 on the same hard disk. So i have a few questions

1. Would it be easier if i wiped the disk and fresh install Snow Leopard then Windows 7?
2. After installing both OS, Chameleon bootloader will allow me to choose between both right?
3. Will I have to install extra drivers after successfully installing Snow Leopard? (Using Multibeast?)
4. Would i need a DSDT?
5. What about the Combo update? (Im using 10.6.3 , so do i need to download the Mac OS X 10.6.3 v1.1 Combo update after installation?)

Thanks for helping me out.
