I didn't manage to get into the installation screen. I pop the DVD in, boot from the DVD into Darwin to start the installation. A few lines of code (refer to my previous post) appear and the laptop restarts right after that. May I know where can I find that information? Thanks
I don't think your graphics is supported. Check out the compatibility list. Says on the search results there is no QE and CI. Thus there's no point trying.
It's your choice. Personally I feel that Windows at version 7 is mature enough to trounce OS X. Besides you still need to flip to Windows whenever you need to play a game, since Apple is never going to get serious about gaming.

Err... I believe OSX is a good enough platform for any games, it's up to developers to come up with the games, not Apple. Just look at the Apple Store, browse through the games for iPod Touch and iPhone. Are they not comparable (if not better) then Windows Mobile games?
There isn't enough user base for game companies to take Mac game development seriously. Also, Apple has always downplayed the role of gaming for Mac platform. That's why all along the Mac community has only small-time game porting companies such as Aspyr to depend on.
iPhone is a wholly different ballgame. Apple is going the extra mile to entice game developers. However the 1-9 buck price range will ensure gamers that all you're ever going to get is simple games for casual gamers, not enough to lure people who are into serious portable gaming such as those who are into NDS or PSP. All you need to do is compare the quality of a game such as Brothers in Arms on both iPhone and PSP. Look them up on YouTube. They are like night and day.
Crap Compaq with backlit keyboard? How much work (and $$) did you burn on this? But most importantly: after all that intense mod-fu, how much is your Xbench?

i'm new to this and i hope someone can help me with my question THANKS!
I took a long hard look at this model too, but in the end the HD5650 is the stumbling block. You can try but the best you're probably going to get is native resolution, no QE or CI. If you want a high performing model guaranteed to successfully install OS X, you can check out my sale thread. However be prepared to spend weeks trying to make everything work. Good luck.
I see an Asus notebook next to your hackintosh screen, but it seems to be running Windows. Did you try installing OS X on it, and if so, how did it go?

Super duper noob question here: how to install mac osx on my aspire one d260 netbook
There's no Quartz Extreme support for your Intel graphics. Best sell it and get another netbook with older Intel 945 or get a proper notebook with Nvidia graphics. After all, why put up with subpar OS X experience when you can have a proper one, when the price difference is but a few hundred ringgit?

Sounds like you either got the CXZ port by mistake (happens to the best of us BTW) or your 250GTS hack is actually a lot weaker than the Nguyen guy's 320M.

So you really purchased this as opposed to downloading from Piratebay etc.? Since this is the Hackintosh section, which is the hideout for "copywrong" Apple, I automatically assumed you got the game from P2P. In this case I really have no idea what happened with your game. It runs smoothly on the BenQ I tested.
