Heh the card doesn't work , plus no wifi , etc. To be frank , I don't recommend anyone to install OSX86 if your wifi/graphics card doesn't work with OSX at all. There is no point of running it

Plus, the CPU should be capable of SSE3 instruction or you goin' to face a "slow" problem tongue.gif
Same apply to my Thinkpad T43.. Sigh

To tell you the truth the SSE3 emulator is spiced up. Check the code out and its pretty good as a SSE3 capable processor running at the same speed. Things have progressed and moved on my friend

T43 - its better to run Tiger

Yeah, might give a try soon! tongue.gif

Hi,

Well i guess both will work fine, just that boot132 method needs a few tweaking here and there to have a stable system. Where with the EFI-X its just plug and play. What is your hardware specs like? If it has the generic hackintosh support hardware then im sure u wont have much issues with the boot 132 method.

Nice siggy there! Could inform me how to install those SL on generic machine? rclxms.gif brows.gif

Just upgraded my Leo installation to Snow Leo (review can be checked out in Snow Leo area). Just to add that , if you want to do it - make sure you're prepared to learn Terminal and basic OSX troubleshooting

If you've been using OSX86Tools or some GUI tools to do it , you'll have issues. However if you have done Retail installation , then its the same !
*
Gosh! I wish I have more time to do it! Kinda bit busy lately.. Plus, I still love my Leopard tongue.gif

Finally my wireless ralink RT2500 from ASUS is running. Used the official RT2500 drivers from Ralink, and wireless utility from Prasys. These are my specs.

Intel Pentium 4 Northwood
1GB DDR SDRAM
80GB WD IDE Hard Drive
ASUS WL-167G
Sound Blaster Live Value
NVidia 7600GS AGP

System + kexts used

iDeneb 1.5.1 OSX 10.5.7
Audio - Creative kX kexts
Graphics - NVKush
WLAN - RT2500 official drivers

ICHx Fix
JMicron IDE Fix

Tried direct downloads, the speed is fine, just that torrents run at only 1/2 kbps using both Transmission and uTorrent for Mac.

Some interesting news:

Looks like the EFI-X is a scam. It's just the normal hackintosh hack stored onto a USB thumbdrive, with a DRM installed to prevent prying eyes. I'm sure glad i didn't spend like RM600 for it!!

What you are looking for is a Hackintosh. I don't know if this contravenes LYN's rules so I suggest you google for it.

This tread wont be here if it against the forum rules tongue.gif
