Either that or use Linux and print lspci output , so that we can determine the make and mdoel of your lan card to see if its supported or not

i trying to install leopard into my compaq v3010AU notebook, AMN turion 64, 2gb ram.

have tried kalyway, ideneb and ipc with -v.

so far kalyway 10.5.2 gave the best result. manage to install by select amd patch.

installation completed successfully

however, problem arise when reboot, it seems it stuck randomly.

sometimes is show

login.windows started,
airport_broadcom not found
[CS_VALID] msg.

and it just hand thr.

anyone has manage to install leopard into v3000 series notebook? care to share?

i have try Jas 10.5.4, any bro has the image with them? the torrent has little seeds.

i've been using XxX distro for over 2 months.
just downloaded iPC last week.wanted to install it,but i dnt wanna ruin my software installed..
is there any way i can backup and retrieve it back after i install iPC?

I use iPC or is it iAtakos. It doesn't matter. Its possible for us to do a normal upgrade or installation provided you know how

I have install leo4allv4.1 on my acer 4520, but i don't know how dual booting between OSX n windows vista, can you show me how? n also how to use nokia phone as modem on mac. One problem i have with this distro, no sound, no wife, n my pendrive can't connect to n detect..i hope you guys can help me..

Have u tried iDeneb 10.5.5? It automatically detect windows installation and u can choose which os u want to boot at startup . Oh btw Slekers, I've found this a few days ago, tho it's for iDeneb installation, *might* work for u, so backup 1st:


I'm using iDeneb 10.5.5, but I can't update to 10.5.6, already tried regular update, update combo and iDeneb MacOSx86 Update Combo 10.5.6 rev1. All causing my pc to boot endlessly during booting to Mac. Other than than, everthing's fine, all driver installed except my Razer AC-1 and gamepad. Oh, my dvd drive is missing in Mac , and yes I've already have a disc in the drive.

ur dvd drive is ide ..right ? if so u nid appleVIAata.kext ....go insanelymac forum and find the kext and install with kexthelper..check ur IDE (Pata) DEVICE and VENDOR ID and check the appleVIAata.kext plist got dev/ven ID for ur IDE or not.....maybe u nid to key in ur dev/ven ID in the plist

you can try leo4allv4 (amd version) i install it in my acer 4520, that is AMD turion, work ok

Acer amd version is a bit eazy then other like HP Compaq.......example like my V3751AU with nforce MCP67 chipset hv to boot with "idlehalt=0" some more still now still cant find the gc nvidia Geforce 7150M kext driver.

mine is Compaq V3010AU, AMD Turion, Nvidia Geforce Go 6150.

i finally have my Mac Pro..clone of course up yestrerday

i'm using Leopard Original Retail DVD install using bootloader download from the forum.. i read and follow all the step carefully from insanelymac forum..of course hardware compatible list is most important.

my hardware list;
Gigabyte ep45-ud3r ( forum have all the ktext ready on this board )
Q9400
4GB hyper x ram
XFX 8800GT
Leopard Original Retail DVD (this is the soul)..i try use clone DVD but not working.

bios setting also very important using this trick, i stuck on this b cos not follow the step early, and No IDE drive..only SATA make you less hassle,
this already save me some $$ to get the EFI-X dongle plan early.

so far the system run faster/smoother then my macbook pro..will install the design software tonite and c what happen.
+ point is it can update all software from apple update natively.

V3010AU ...use leo4allv4 with select mcp67 for chipset....only the dvd rom got problem to read with this mcp67 kext....nid to add appleVIAata.kext for dvdrom

yes.....edy use bout 3 month.....only use default mac resolution 1024 x 768 ...
ur Nvidia Geforce Go 6150 i think also no hv resolution ...if Nvidia Geforce Go 6200 maybe can

Btw, my hack was kinda all screwed up due to some kext problem. Whenever I click on any field that I can type, it will be automatically filled with 7s. So, I got frustrated and try iDeneb 1.4. It work perfectly.

I haven't really test it out, but mouse, keyboard work, graphic card work, I assume ethernet to work too. Sound doesn't work, though.
