As the title suggests, my September 2020 salary was paid on 9/10/2020 and my January 2021 salary was paid on 10/2/2021. If i report to the labour department, is the possibility of getting compensation from my company high?
P/s: I already left the company

No compensation for you for sure. The company may only get fine worst case. Usually the company will appeal for it and with reason like MCO business affected then may reduce the fine only.

You already left, so its up to you to report it as there's little they can do against you.
But they never informed you on it prior?

Stop being so petty. Your salary was less than 2 weeks late for 2 months. What compensation do you expect? If you calculate daily interest the amount is insignificant. You really sound like an "employee from hell."

You can report, labour department will most probably saman the company or give warning.
But your compensation, I'll say you wont get any.

only less than a week's gap. seldom entertain one. plus salary fully paid so they owe you nothing. Summore already left company. You will kena "dah blah baru komplen!?" respond from the officer. I don't know what you try to achieve. Most probably the company kena warning je. Unless mass complaint lodged. At worse, fine.

Just ignore since you already left. And not every month late payment too so don’t need to make noise on small things

During your time working there, have you ever been late for anything?
Lucky for your company though now that you've left

What kind of compensation are you expecting lel.. even if they totally did not pay your salary, you're only getting the same salary once issue resolved with labour office intervention.
You want compensation you go fight case in civil court or something if you think it is even worth it

Late or not at least they still pay u.
Some companies bungkus terus and pay after liquidation which takes months.
Some cannot even pay salaries even after liquidation.
TS considered himself lucky to still have a salary even after he has left the company.

if you're thinking of getting some kind of compensation out of this, probably don't bother but report is to the relevant parties just as well, so bullshit employer from hell like this won't play around with anyone's salary

But sufficient if the company can get fined. At least it's a warning for the company not to pay late again in labor law standards.
