Hi guys,
Since the start of mco I've been implementing some workouts and healthy eating habits to sort of improve myself. A lil background, I have never been considerable fat my weight hovers between 65kg - 72 kg , im about 175 cm tal. I use to teach kids swim lessons and do runs and gym a little but prior to the start of MCO I have not been exercising for over a year so the start of MCO has been sort of a new beginning for me.
Fast forward to a year + my habits have grown and I now do roughly 4 km runs twice a week couple with once or twice per week of weight training. I noticed something weird,I've recently started sweating profusely as well as during very light activity exertions such as walking slightly far or even doing the most light activities I would sweat, anybody have any idea why this is happening? Like I can be lifting some boxes or cooking, even being in a slightly warm room and before you know it I'll be sweating pretty significantly.
I should also mention I have stopped vaping for 3 weeks now coming off a 2 year habit of heavy vaping.

QUOTE(aepock @ Mar 4 2021, 02:27 PM) if u exercise frequently then it's normal...slight activity will sweat. i having the same thing. Did u have a way to counter it? or just accept as it is Haha , quite inconvenient when for example u have a short walk and everyone looking normal and you are starting to get drenched ~.~ I googled it , it mentions could be a hyperactive thyroid but to be fair the sweating only happens when i carry out activities that require physical energy

are you sure it is not the weather lately that is hotter than usual?
or if you tend to be in air conditioned area.......and your body acclimatized to that temperature.......so doing things or going to a warmer area will sweat.

Could be also , but i notice i tend to sweat when i just carry out activity that require physical energy. Like if i had to cook , id definitely sweat a lot more (noticeably more) than soemone say my gf or brother who would hardly break a sweat , same temp and all

It's just Malaysian humidity. Active lifestyle probably increase resting metabolism. Exert slight strength and the body goes into preparation to activate beast mode. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the humidity of tropical climate makes us sweat a lot and cause body odour. Try deodourant or snake brand prickly heat powder.
