better take picture or video of the unit condition first...

Report police under what subject?

Just go there & ask.

File police report & ask what you can do.

If they say don't know, then you ask whether 1 of them can follow you go there & demand your money.
- Reason : You very scared of the brute tenant which they might hit you.

U can draft warning letter to tenant but to evict and demand overdue or forfeiture of deposit etc. u still need to engage lawyer to pursue in court otherwise it just warning without legal effect
