That's a shame, iianm the Glenmarie outlet is P2's branch, it's a shame they treated you poorly. My sister always service her car there, i notice it is always crowded.
I see, yea give it a go, ymmv.

Haha, well i did 2 trips with it, 1 with power off, the 2nd round with power on, personally i think the difference not that significant, if i get it, I'll just enjoy it unker style, just light throttle up to 2 - 2.5k rpm or so in city roads, then smoothly speed up on highway.

I'm quite a fast driver actually too with my Gen2 CPS manual, it's easy to drive so, rev happy all the way up to 5 - 6k rpm lol. But i do drive around a few cars, including Axias, Alzas, and Myvi G2 lagi best, all auto. They're different cars certainly, hence i feel best and comfy with P2s to just pace down and drive normally in them, and unsurprisingly get better fc lol.

I see, never tried Mazda's iStop, but I've tried VW Passat manual diesel in Ireland, i think Auto Start Stop is ideal with manual, cuz they only trigger when in N, so less annoying. It restarts as you press clutch, so by the time you're prepped in 1st gear and balancing clutch/throttle, there's no issue of unsmooth restart.

Yea, hard to complaint with Ativa, there's just no contest. For the asking price, they're generous with spec, turning off ISS yourself is not much to ask.

It's all about perspective and what you are based on.

As you are so use to manual, which has very direct feel when it comes to throttle response, you won't get adapted to CVT so easily (both PWR on or off). Say, if you are a Axia driver, you probably notice much more.

Auto car should be driven differently. CVT even more so.

A Toyota Raize owner from Singapore joined one of the Ativa FB group. His has a Defi gauge install to monitor the turbo boost info for his car. This is his statement about the PWR button :

Looks like he never pressed the PWR button before doing the 0-100 sprint. Without PWR on the boost is low, as in ECO mode.

The Ativa NVH was BEYOND Worst, during the Genting run. Try comparing this to YS Khong video on Almera 1.0 Turbo. It's like night and day.
*
I think YS did not drive the Almera as hard. For the Ativa, he really takes on the demand of all Malaysian public, to rev to the max while driving. Manual mode all the way and let the CVT upshift by red the line ! blink.gif

For any car, if driven like that on regular basis, it will break into pieces tongue.gif

Perhaps you might want to look at the RPM before making that sort of conclusion. Better still, watch the whole video right from the start.

Yes, I did watch the video carefully. More than once he mentioned "Flat out" !!

☝️ Any owner hit 100K yet scheduled for spark plug replacement?
*
Not in the forum, but I got a friend who changed his spark plug recently. And he encountered some power loss issue right after that. Perodua needs to somehow re-adapt the car's ignition timing for it. And the replacement cost is quite expensive at > RM450 for 3 pcs.

x adjust electrode gap
*
I don't think so, it was some ECU re-adaption. The gap of electrode for new spark plug should be in the right specs, as with all new plugs. Can't imagine it otherwise wink.gif

Anyone here change the infotainment unit to wireless AA/AC unit? And what brand?
*
Why not just invest a higher end carlinkit AiBox what has HDMI output to your screen. That should be coming with remote control too since HDMI output has no touch support on the stock screen.

Alternatively, buy a Ottocast P3 AiBox, that also has HDMI output to screen.

Buy a video in motion bypass cable, then you will have full andriod system on your stock screen.
