Do u install door visor? I didn't install them yet, wind noise is noticeable but not too intrusive to me. Still, I'd like to know how to get rid of it DIY method before going to soundproofing shop.

*

For most berbaloi, H. AV got alot more features, but nothing you cannot live without, unless you fancy the black roof, can only get in AV.
For me RTCA quite useful, on the other hand did not use much ACC because don’t do long distance much.
Agree with the LKC, but I can only turn off the steering assist, how you permanently turn it off?
*
ACC only valuable if ATIVA equip with EPB (AH), can engage Traffic jam assist + Stop & Go function.
Syiok.

Personally, I go with AV mainly because of full suite ADAS, AEB is not enough. BSM assist for blindspot moto and LKA/LDW do assist especially long distance driving.
Haven't tried RCTA as I park reverse parking most of the time.

Handbrake can implement EPB?

220 KPA = 32 PSI = ard 2.2 BAR just nice for me
*
Hoping for some tech wizard can install aftermarket EPB since Alza already have it so part shouldn't be much an issue.

Having a stop&go and traffic jam assist feature is make wonder especially for traffic prone area.

It is normal although it's not supposed to creep into the inside of the car. This is due to a very small opening that supposed to be an secondary optional *[I can't remember the function mentioned by the Perodua technician]*. They cut cost and never seal it tightly. If you use your finger and korek-korek then you will notice it's there. This hole was also present in the Myvi but was sealed properly. Unless everyone mogok buat bising, they won't do any fixes I believe.
*
where does this 'opening' located?

the smell is more apparent when driving above 100kmh but at low speed sometime can smell it as well.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

Ugh... What is this, Perodua leaving a hole for us? πŸ˜‚
How low? If I'm going uphill and my engine revving 3k-4k constantly, then the smell will come d.
*
yea same with me, if RPM goes close to 3K at low speed (uphill/Downhill, trying to accelerate), can already start to smell

previously not so apparent, but now mcm selalu akan keluar itu bau rclxub.gif

Usually only salesmen that cares will ask you about the windscreen coverage. But again, it really looks like Ativa windscreen macam quality cap ayam. Can see so many cases of it on FB.
*
funny people don't care about ativa windscreen cap ayam but somehow condemn X70 door handle cap ayam.. hmm.gif hmm.gif

then again, my car already got stone chipped (because of lorrybodo) and hoping to replace it next year before insurance renewal.. it disrupt my driving view laugh.gif laugh.gif

I'm shocked at how little glue is actually used on the front sensing cameras (can count the spots where glue had been)! shocking.gif

Actually, if you visit certain windscreen repair shops, they have a special advise for you on howto claim insurance even if you havent purchased one yet.
Anyway, i like your positive attitude (sarcasm I know) on money and time well spent! sweat.gif
*
can ask P2 to replace windscreen despite not cracked just few stonechip (within driver line of sight) sweat.gif sweat.gif
even use those resin can still see the damage area..

I could not agree more
The saving on average 1ml / minute, is not that worth to diligently obeying to it
On spark plug we are using iridium correct?(i read or watch some where on YT), not that saves also as the price is triple the usual plug, and iridium on normal car can last to 100-150k km or more,, im not sure the interval for ativa plug, with this eco idle
my main worry is the starter

Plus side during my long drive notworthy.gif
One thing i forgot to mentioned is that the seating for driver side at least is very comfy, I’m a big size 172cm and 90kg, driving this car for more than 2 hour, really a pleasant drive compare to my CRV, after few hours my ass bone really sakit
*
we are almost same size but driver seat not that comfy for me

I drove KL-Penang / Johor

driving ativa, it really hurt my back where as if driving with X70.. supercomfy..

if less than 2hrs (non-traffic) journey, still okay, any longer than that really not the best for me... i'll go with X70 instead sweat.gif sweat.gif

for town use, ativa still way better as it can fit most narrow road/parking space.. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
slight regret didn't wait for hybrid model but at least better decision than myvi

i sit x70 before. to achieve that ativa need stiffer sponge fill

yea2

and the side bolster less hugging in ativa but i think this is subjective according to driver body size sweat.gif

overall still acceptable for daily driving, just long distance.. need consideration / planning laugh.gif laugh.gif

4H 30 mins that's crazy fast.. the highway at Gua Musang have very uneven road especially when connecting to bridge, driving merely 110km/h was enough to use up the whole suspension range till the impact hit the chassis. I guess only people who familiar with the road able to drive that fast as many merging lane is quite unpredictable especially construction areas near the highway.
*
damn

i drive 6H from KL to KB.. (only 1 hr rest at Gua Musang RnR)..

since the package come with both front n rear speaker

will it affect the tweeter since AV equip with 6 speakers.

Just notice, that ativa is kinda fuel saving tho

drive from Penang to KL full tank and reaches kl with 2 bars left (~140km left of range)..

Batu Ferringhi to KL is approximately 370km (started to left batu ferringhi around 386km of range)

speed range from 90-140kmh plus some traffic along the way.

I did similar trip with X70 before although it can reach 3 bars when return to KL(approximately 2++km since it started with 600km of range)

the X70 super makan minyak in city driving.
*
Despite 36L fuel tank, can still match 60L fuel tank car😁😁😁

how did this car feel travelling at long distance? cruising, overtake, uphill? can giv some real world review? coming from 1.5 will i feel a downgrade/underpower?
*
I believe this one bit subjective

Personally.. overall I’m already adapt to it. Just ativa seat may not be my preference as it not hugging me enough πŸ˜…

Well from coming 1.5 to 1.0T, you may feel underpowered

But you can try to play around with the PWR button
I constantly use that mode whenever overtaking or going uphill.

I mostly cruise around 110-130 on highway, it feel alright to me.. no wobbly or anything.

For my driving habit of same route to Penang

X70 avg 8-9l/100km (12km/L)

Ativa avg 17-18km/L

i see.. how is the  boot space? can the back seat be reclined to store stuff / like those ultra seats?
*
ativa still the same 60:40 split, but the got the same function as X70, having 2 reclined setting

Normal and sit up straight thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
(Ativa does not have Ultra seat function)

because of the 'false' floor, it can fit a lot of stuff surprisingly

if arrange properly can fit 2 check-in luggage and 2 hand luggage well.

Personally the most useless thing is the tonneau cover, yes it can fold but if fold wrongly, the flexible metal will bengkok and the cover became bit cacat sweat.gif
