Manage to see the car on the road for the past few days. The design is fresh, something new on Malaysian road. Will definitely turn some heads around. But I gotta say that its rather small. Didnt expect it to be that way by the pictures.

Anyhow, does Perodua still require a booking for the test drive? Feels like trying but I dont want to make a hassle for a booking as I wont probably able to afford buying it at the moment.

Just go on a weekday and early morning. I went on the day after launch and there was no one at 8.30 when they opened. Back then, no test drive though.

Oops sorry, I got it wrong. I just went through the manual and can now confirm that LKC does not operate when the ACC is not active. I had LKC confused with LDP. A good reminder for me to RTFM the next time lol.

LDP or LDW? Lane departure warning.

Saw LDP thought the highway. laugh.gif

Anyways, yup. packed with safety features.

It really takes some getting used to having the Blind Spot Assist on a Perodua!!

Booking fee only if you are keen to order the car.

No booking fee needed for Test Drive.

I also tried my luck walk in to get a test drive during weekdays and was able to get a slot.

Cos I tried using UFirst app to book and I was like, need to wait 3-4 days for slot. Crazy!

LDP for Lane Departure Prevention, the feature that applies counter force to the steering wheel to prevent departing the lane without using the turn signal. It's different from LDW that just shows the symbol and makes the buzzer sound.

Yeah, it's like Perodua is forcing you to drive safely! laugh.gif

Ahh thanks for clarifying.

Is that automatically switched on? I did see some buttons on the right side where the auto leveller used to be on the Myvi. I think I was more interested in the Auto High Beam thingy. Did you manage to test it out? Hahaha.

Yes, it is automatically switched on as part of ASA 3.0, but you can switch it off to drive Fast and Furious style. Bear in mind you can't switch off individual features in ASA though, so you'll be switching everything off.

Yes, I managed to test it out, although unintentionally. I was panicking at first because I noticed the high beam was switched on when I didn't remember switching it on. It was only afterwards that I realized it was because of AHB. It switches on by itself pretty frequently, I just hope I didn't blind anyone by mistake lol.

It is not android based which is a huge bummer. Would need to get an after market android player installed to get a more complete and up to date infotainment experience.

Got my ativa AV last Thursday.

So far, so good.

One Q. On the frontpassenger seat floor, does anyone feels any vibrations or periodic "knocking"? I sat ln passenger seat today and felt the floorboard "knocks" were very obvious at certain speed.

How's the NVH? power delivery is smooth or got lag like Myvi/Axia?

Btw it seems the headlights are using individual LEDs...any idea if there are aftermarket upgrades for these like Philips Xtreme ultinon?

NVH is acceptable for me. Power delivery is very punchy. Have not tried top speed yet. Overall, power delivery band all the way to 110 is good. Do not feel any lag or short of torque when climbing hills.

Just finish test drive the Ativa..

Love the big screen and pick up.. the pick up is faster than the Myvi.. a lot of safety features too 👍

The only thing I don't like is the front "teeth" bodykit for the Gear Up 😂

don't worry all units come without it unless you want to top up another RM2500 for it.
