So
Over the weekend I drive from KL to Melaka
Since hway is jammed like crazy, Im using mixed of both trunk and hway and rural road

Driving experince nothing to shout about, but if you really drive within the speed limit, 19km-20km per liter surely can achieves

I try to behave and diligently used eco idle, but i really cannot brain why the engine shut down very fast, even when you shifted from D - N - R - P
When you arrived and want to stop
The engine off when you stop then ON back when you shifted back to N and R

Im guessing no more NO eco idle for me  mega_shok.gif

Within few days my car already clock 800km, i guess need to book for first inspection already

The eco idle is really annoying, on paper it's a good fuel saving feature but in real world, it is annoying AF and wears the spark plug faster.

I could not agree more
The saving on average 1ml / minute, is not that worth to diligently obeying to it
On spark plug we are using iridium correct?(i read or watch some where on YT), not that saves also as the price is triple the usual plug, and iridium on normal car can last to 100-150k km or more,, im not sure the interval for ativa plug, with this eco idle
my main worry is the starter

Plus side during my long drive notworthy.gif
One thing i forgot to mentioned is that the seating for driver side at least is very comfy, I’m a big size 172cm and 90kg, driving this car for more than 2 hour, really a pleasant drive compare to my CRV, after few hours my ass bone really sakit

Without the eco idle I doubt they could get the EEV status for certain tax break incentive. Don't like how the air-conditioning runs from the battery during eco idle kicking in.

we are almost same size but driver seat not that comfy for me

I drove KL-Penang / Johor

driving ativa, it really hurt my back where as if driving with X70.. supercomfy..

if less than 2hrs (non-traffic) journey, still okay, any longer than that really not the best for me... i'll go with X70 instead sweat.gif sweat.gif

for town use, ativa still way better as it can fit most narrow road/parking space.. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
slight regret didn't wait for hybrid model but at least better decision than myvi

yup. need some trick to make use of adjustable seat.
ori spec is iridium where axxia ori copper plug, sc change every 20k short lifespan.
starter might not run eco start, as daihatsu have piston parking technology some years ago. he shut after compress fuel mixture to be lit up once we release brake. quicker

Bro,
Agreed on X70, change car in mid journey from KL to Ipoh at Tg Malim with my lil bro X70, both of us agree that CRV seat is worse
But this ativa beats CRV hands down

Your CRV which generation? Isn't the CRV seats are wider and offer better thigh support?

What do you think of the lumbar support from the Ativa's seats? What's your experience?

CRV lumbar support is active, meaning can adjust, even tho can adjust,, still not to my liking,
Ativa seat still better with fixed lumbar support
