Teocheow food can't be an attractive cuisine for most because the taste and all the ingredients used, there are some good stuff BUT again, it's just normal thing as no expensive ingredient used.

(Come bullshit me about how great teocheow taste is like I have never tried great teocheow food because no real local bring me)

Correct, the porridge is just normal rice porridge.
The special are the spare parts like the head, ear, brain, nose & other internal organs, besides other braised non pig stuff & it's gravy.

These stuff are unwanted & very cheap food that laborers can afford to eat, decades ago.

Teochew porridge are serve along with fish. It call 潮汕鱼饭
Seafood as primary ingredient then only pork organ as secondary.

This Porridge stall is similar to this video but in smaller size
really authentic. I been to my ancestor hometown Teochew, been to this restraurant inside video too.
