I own a model with the I5-8300H and GTX 1050, I usually play simple games like Rocket League and old 3A titles like GTA 5 (it can run 60fps at high settings). Don't have any issues so far. The only issue I had is with the fan driver (NitroSense) not working (doesn't even run). If you encounter this problem delete Nitrosense and install Predator Sense instead (There is no major difference between the 2 anyways)
