I managed to get
6GB Black RM1199
8GB White RM1699

I am in dilemma now... Shall I get 8GB with rm500 different?
*
If RM200, yes. RM500, hell no. can make do with 6gb and 128gb definitely. Put less "ehem" movies ok already.

Does having lots of applications take out alot of space ??
*
Well, depends. If a lot of games, yes. Else I think 128gb will be sufficient for most people. Unless you do take a lot of pictures and videos

Usually pictures and video takes alot of space. Games not really.
*
Yeah, my mistake. Game at most few gb per game, unlike videos can be few gb per videos too.

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Mar 29 2021, 06:15 PM)
Storage I am fine. I just more concern on 6gb RAM ... not sure how much the MIUI will occupy and used up the 6GB.

Earlier someone shared with me MIUI used up 3GB ... and I tested Tennis Clash game ... opps ... it used 1.5G on my existing phone....

What is I play other heavy game? That is my worry.
*
I do read somewhere that MIUI tends to kill background apps although ram still sufficient. I could not confirm this as I not owning any MIUI phone at the moment. Game wise, once it loads up, I don't see a difference. My pixel 2 xl with 4gb ram still fine in playing pubg. I don't play other games.

QUOTE(soulseeker6187 @ Mar 29 2021, 06:21 PM)
No games need so much ram. Maybe multitasking will suffer but playing games is fine on 6gb. Genshin also fine with 6gb.
*
Yeah, it gonna be a long way before any game needs 6gb ram. If one don't need tons of apps running background and can't bear app reloading, 6gb is enough

Currently using 5t with 8gb.. my average usage is only around 4.3gb.. so.. 6gb is like ok for you average usage.
*
I realized that when the phone's ram getting bigger, the ram usage before any app opening also gets bigger..

After June or July ??
Does the google photos automatically upload to the cloud ? and you cant just delete it on your device ?
*
Yes, automatic upload to cloud. And you can delete from your phone and cloud as well. Good thing about this google photos is that you can access your pic and videos through all your devices that is same account.

After 1st June 2021, all upload from your google photos will be count into your google drive storage, free 15gb for every users. Uploads before 1st June remains unchanged. You can upgrade google drive storage.
For 100gb rm8.50 monthly may seems a lot, but can share with your family members.

I start using this after my iphone motherboard failed once and all pics n videos gone.

Case? I think will be using the case that come with the box, or maybe not using any case at all, if the feel of the back glass is good

Hi guys, I got a question.

I asked my friend to buy xone (poco f3) SP and the packaging was quite different. She said they got some kind of machine and cut it at shop. I double check online the packaging was different. Is this original or not?

Yes, original. I am using rockspace and it comes with similar packaging

My bro poco x3 nfc can support 18w using ugreen pd car charger.
I also wanna know which 1 can support full 33w.
*
i think for 33w fast charging is xiaomi proprietary protocol, so using a PD charger, it may be limited to 18w only.

that mean there is no 33w car charger able to charge mi turbo speed?  sad.gif
how about this charger https://s.lazada.com.my/s.Xmqut , can it give mi turbo charge 33w? as it state the charger is 65W
*
i cannot confirm this. may need to search through xiaomi see if they make one for car charger

QUOTE(KopiChia @ Apr 8 2021, 12:05 PM)
So the 33w is their own not pd or qc? I got one of these bought last time to charge a laptop so will it 33w or 18w hmm

user posted image
*
from what i read, the 33w is proprietary to xiaomi. laptop normally uses PD charging protocol, so it is different to phone charger. i guess it will only be able to charge at 18w on your phone. can verify using the usb meter thing.

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Apr 8 2021, 12:36 PM)
Actually i very blur with these day quick charge , if u buy huawei 40w or realme oppo vivo 40w quick charge, u only able to charge their own brand phone with super quick charge only , if charge on xiaomi become normal charge

Really blur , can someone explain about this?
*
each manufacturer making their own protocol for charging. if you own a realme or oppo devices that uses vooc tech, you can see the usb A having 5 pin compared to normal usb which is 4 pin.
