The realme 8 and 8 pro was just announced in india, don't even consider those phones. Still using 60hz amoled with sd 720g for the 8 pro and helio g95 (which is basically the sd 730g/720g) for the regular 8. The only good part is the 108mp camera on the pro and even then, the redmi note 10 pro is a way better buy

Should be the global rom because Poco phones don't have CN rom. The "F3" in china that has CN rom is the Redmi K40

The ram doesn't really matter that much because 6gb is more than enough for gaming and multitasking. The huge performance upgrade would be going from the RN8's midrange SD 665 and Adreno 610 gpu to the flagship level SD 870 (aka SD 865++) and Adreno 650 GPU. The F3 will be more than able to handle all games that's currently available, genshin impact/mobile legends/pubg/codm

you mean x3 pro? I think it makes sense that it got more attention because this phone is a much better buy/upgrade for a budget flagship coming from an older phone like last years x3 nfc. Here are the things is has over the x3 pro:

- snapdragon 870 (a bit more performance + 5G) over the 860 on the x3 pro
- amoled 120hz vs 120hz lcd
- lighter, less bulky and more sleeker/beautiful design (subjective), the x3 pro has the same design & size from the x3 nfc just different colors)

but it also has its own downsides:

- smaller battery, 4520 mAh vs 5120 mAh
- no sd card slot
- no headphone jack

spigen/ringke/nillkin, you can search cases for redmi k40

nillkin and Ringke have made cases for the redmi k40/f3 but Spigen not yet. And the ringke fusion-x is not available yet on lazada or shopee. Hopefully they will be added soon now that phone has launched globally and more widely available

Here, but I think I misunderstood. I thought they will restock it at 12am for both 27 & 28 March sale but then realized it just means the sale will go on for 2 days and limited quantity, while stock lasts

The price is back up to the RRP 1399 for the 128gb. We'll see if it will go back down to 1299 again and if they restock for 256gb

Cancelled orders have been put up again on the f3 Lazada page but it's the non promo price, 1399 & 1699

Should be, xiaomi malaysia just announced the mi 11 lite (1199) first sale will be on 6th Apr. They could announce the Mi 11i next, the price should be around 2.5k - 2.7k after deducting VAT

Why though? Unless you want a smaller, lighter, & thinner phone, also a bit better camera, there's no reason to get the 11 lite over the f3. Btw, the one they brought in malaysia is the 4g version with sd 732g, not the 5g version with 780g
