nope. was not on miui14, but just now just to see if its rom issue, i ask her to update to miui14 already, the R for roaming still persists, will see if it still bootloops, if not need to go claim warranty already

how to check if poco f3 still got warranty or not? the receipt ship date 24th april 2022. but not sure if they register warranty? bought from poco official global store. anyway i can check online to be sure?

So far for me Miui 14 it's almost no issue other than first time ever my F3 whole system hang while using Brave browser. It popup notification poco launcher crash or not responding or something couldn't read it as it's popup stuck half way at bottom of screen but I was using nova launcher not poco launcher. Had to force a reboot. After which I cleared Brave data so far it's back to no issue.

But using miui 14 for first time ever I received notification it used 80% memory not sure what but I never had such notification before. I was using tiktok I think... Manual reboot seems to be back to normal.

I never factory reset after upgrade maybe that's why had some issue. I only use Security to clear cache.

update on this. after updated to MIUI14, the whole day it doesn't reboot, until now when she went to office and i think connected to office wifi? (she was at office door) then it rebooted. and the roaming icon which is still persistent, now the yes itself cant be use again. i check back with her and it seems the reboot only happens when the yes sim is on, when she turn the sim off the phone itself is fine. is the sim / signal or something having bug, causes the phone to reboot?

You already change the YES sim card before right? If that the case, it still fall back to main board issue. If you want to further test, can try other telco sim to check whether your issue still occur.

only swapping the sim to different slot, (which the R still persists in yes even in different slot), but never remove it, but once disable it doesnt reboot. now i am asking her to fully disable it and remove it after work, leaving only the digi sim. and we'll see if it helps.

But 1TB could possibly not exist in global markets, since normally highest storage option not available for global markets

Okay everyone mostly knows that Snapdragon 7 series is a midrange chip and might be dissapointed since Poco F series tends to always come with flagship level SD 8 series chips. However, Qualcomm has stepped up their game this year due to intense competition from Mediatek's Dimensity chips. This *midrange* chip is a lot more powerful in relative to all previous midrange chips from Qualcomm. To put it simply, it is almost as powerful as the SD 8+ Gen 1. In fact, it's practically almost identical by sharing the same architecture/design and 4nm TSMC process as the SD 8+ Gen 1, except it's underclocked to lower speeds. Antutu scores for the chip breached 1 million, thereby trumping SD 870's 700k score. This chip will likely be Qualcomm's new budget king chip.

probable poco version will have just 8+256 and 12+256 version because higher capacity may have limited stock only enough for china mainland


and the price is just conversion without considering markups such as shipping/taxing etc

12+256 : ~rm1800+


estimated pricing for F5 pro (rebadge K60) SM8475 3.0ghz
around RM 2000-2500 (similar to poco F4GT at launch)


F5 (SM7475) > REPLACE F4 (870)
F5 Pro (SM8475 3.0ghz) > REPLACE F4 GT (SM8450)
