It's not Android 13 that cause my L1 issue, my L1 is gone since Android 12 (Miui13). It started with device failure occurred while watching Netflix, usually rebooted and L1 will return, fixed. Then one day, after rebooted and it remains L3 until now.

Probably mine is isolated case.

as for launcher stuff, yeah seems like 3rd party launchers cant use gestures anymore, forced to use buttons

3rd Party Gestures works in miui 13 and now miui 14. Even 3rd party launcher Nova launcher works if you start frm new old saved can't be used. You use 3rd party gestures with playstore app called mygesture for full gestures but unlike miui 13 where you can hide 3 navigation dots now you can't in miui 14 they make sure only poco launcher can hide it.
Below is one I am using since Miui 13

Just manual update to MIUI 14. Here are what I noticed and loves

1- Safety check setting
2- memory extend from 3Gb to 5Gb
3- Fast startup
4- Dark mode for all app need to on-off-on again in setting each reboot still fix
5- some app like bitdefender or authenticator still not compatible with accessible settings

There are more but I don't notice the difference since I might don't use those features

how to manually update to miui 14? there's no choose package in update, only download latest package

Click on miu13 logo for multiple times, it will enable the additional update features

my gf using poco f3, main sim is digi, second sim is for data, yes 4g.
2 days ago her phone restarted itself, then the yes sim doesnt work, and there's a persistent R logo beside the bar. i check and apparently its roaming, but she didnt turn on roaming, in the setting roaming was set to never, but she just couldnt use the internet. even after restarting and swapping sim cards its still the same. seems to only happen to the yes data sim. then i check online and ask her to change roaming to always, since then she can use the internet, but the R is still there permanently. anyone have this issue? now her phone keeps on rebooting once in a while, one day happen at least 5 to 6 times.

This normally symptoms of main board issue already, get ready to buy a new phone or change main board.

How to get rid of the MIUI default "getapps" in MIUI 14? Its kinda annoying by popping and asking to update apps.

my poco f3 also sometimes it hang and restart itself lol.
hoping it will last until end of this year.

I just force stop it and disable the notification.

Uh oh constant reboots? Hopefully it's not caused by MiUi 14. Doesn't sound good. My F3 is still fine, I'm just waiting MiUi 14 OTA update.
