Guys

It finally happen to me

My cn rom 512gb mi 11 ultra have a god damn permanent green line on the left side

Just came out of nowhere

When I first saw it I was like wtf

I quickly lock the phone go back in and it was gone

Thought was my eye prob

Then after few hours I use it came back and this time flicker a bit and stay permanent even after I switch off and back on the device

Really sien man my phone has drop a few time with a case on it and not very high about sitting position but the green line appear out of no where after 1- 2 month after the fall

I know about mi 11 series overheating mobo burnout and reballing solution but never thought I get the green line instead.

I google they say this happen a lot to 2-3 year phone and I think I got my phone in 2021 dec and it also happen to many Samsung panel

In any case no more Xiaomi for me too much bug and qc issue

I know the only solution is to replace the screen but I also heard it may come back so I probably keep using the phone and hope the green line won't get worst

As I'm writing this is green line is really annoying man...This is the first time I face a green line issue never face them on my previous phone...I will update this tered if it gets worst...Very sad for me now ..oh well it is what it is...

Sell your Mi 11 before the WiFi chip dies out
All Mi 11 suffers the same flaw, it's just a matter of time

I remember reading this post and thought to myself if i took care of my phone like not overheating it by not playin games or use fan to cool it if its too hot, etc

But no matter how much u protect the phone

Last last about yesterday my mi 11 ultra restarted suddently and the wifi is goneeeee.

It will turn on but its will hang and restart no matter wut i do

As long as the wifi is on its will hang and restart

The good news is i manage to switch off the wifi and the phone seem to be ok operating on mobile data and i will backup my data.

The bad news is the wifi chip is burn and can never be use unless i do those reballing which dun even know whether the problem will come back or not.

First i hav the green line now this...no more xiaomi for me just too many problem

So backup ur data if ur still planing to use the mi 11 series cause the wifi will kaput eventually.

That's why I keep advising everyone in here to sell their Mi 11 before the problem arises.
It's only a matter of time, regardless of how much you cherish it.

Agreed

I took care of the phone but still wifi burn

The funny thing is all the problem seem to come at the same time

First the green line and now the burn wifi...

The mi 11 ultra has great camera and internal mic but sadly after this

I dare not buy xiaomi ever again

All my hardwork and money gone

Haihhhh

hi only this Mi 11 or all Xiaomi product?

All of mi 11 series including the base model and ultra model is affected by this hardware defect.

from what ive read. The board on the mi 11 series is too thin and hence the main board will warp under heat stress

But as u can see even i took care to make sure not too much hear is generated on my ultra

It still cause the wifi to spoil

It jusy took longer. So higher heat means faster spoil

The pro model of 11 series should also be the same but since less people buy that china model only so less report.

The only aolution is to do the reballing process which some shop know how to do. I not sure in malaysia anybody know how to do the reballing process for the mi 11. Its not an easy fix.
