1. Charging - Top up from 10 -100% within 40 minutes which is blazingly fast, and the phone only barely heat up during charging. Anyway, based on my observation on the power meter, 67W only achievable during flat - 30%, afterwards it capped at around 35W until end of charge. Accute Battery reported provisional capacity = 105% of 5000mAh, 5% bonus.
2. Camera - The highest praise feature of the phone. The quality is top notch if your reference is 'phone', but myself as a DSLR enthusiast, it still far off, haha, but nevermind. One biggest drawback that no reviewers had mentioned so far, there is a noticeable shutter lag, i just compare to my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, is like 0.5s kinda delay from press shutter -> photo taken. I have read 1+9 Pro having similar issue, but Mi 11 Ultra is quite obvious to me.
3. Sound - The stereo speaker loud and clear, tuned by Harmon Kardon, to me just a hype rather than any meaningful.
4. Battery life - Battery life is so so, it can last me 24 hours with 10% left, but that is without gaming at all (i'm not mobile gamer anyway), as expected the biggest consumer is the 120Hz screen itself. It drops around 3-4% overnight (6 hours) during sleep, suggesting the idle consumption is quite high due to unknown reason.
5. Thumb print sensor - Occasionally need longer time to unlock although already set 4 group of fingerprint, my Samsung S7E is slightly better in this regards.
6. Face recognition - faster than thumb print, however can't detect when wearing mask, and system not allow to set face recognition photo with mask.
7. MIUI 12 - Smooth and fast with some minor inconsistent, micro stuttering in some menu pages and apps. Being a long time Samsung owner, still need some time to get used with MIUI.
8. Front screen - Haven't tested HDR yet, just normal content. Display colour set to original with default colour temperature. The white balance/colour is very accurate by naked eye and better in this mode as compare to my calibrated monitor. Screen uniformity is excellent without any noticeable colour tint/spot. The edge is curve, but only very slightly compare to my S7E which your hand won't touch it due to thick bezel, so no worry on false touch when holding the phone, definitely no cons to me if compare to my 5 years experience on the S7E.
9. Rear screen - almost no use to me except rear camera selfie. Can be useful to display time and notification if your phone front screen facing down (more stable compare to facing up due to large camera bump).
10. Design - Weight slightly on heavy side, prefer matte chrome bezel rather than gloss bezel which could attract finger print, white ceramic back is immune to finger print. Overall grip is good.
9. Accessories inbox - Nothing except 67W charger + USB-C to 3.5mm converter included, means you still can use your old school audiophile headphone.
Let me know if you have anything would like to know further.
