And then got metro exodus.

Damn this game is so good and immersive. Do you all know any other games like this? I'm not looking for post apocalyptic specifically. But I'm interested in very immersive single player and "A+" story.

Metro is my first fps lol. I'm glad I started with metro.

some of the developer of Metro and Escape from Tarkov originally worked on STALKER, and came out with 3 games for it.

Call of Pripyat is the last installment of the series, and Anomaly Mod basically creates an open world freeplay with all 3 games combined.

SOMA - very scary game. Either you're scared of the creatures in there, or you'll get existential crisis instead. I still have residual feeling of it months after watching lets plays of it.

Always try to avoid encounters with chimera, bloodsucker & pseudogiant

Part of me kinda wish they have co-op mode, but then again it's the loneliness and depressing, helpless, dreadful atmosphere that makes STALKER what it is

Stalker 2 is coming... maybe it will have co-op this time..

hopefully wont be cancelled halfway...

Just watched some videos on YouTube to reminisce about it.

And got reminded of that Burer creature, another stuff of nightmare.

With Stalker 2 everyone can have their nightmare in glorious 4K and RTX

IIRC there's an anabiac pill you can eat during emission blowout that knocks you out and survive the emission

Though I think I only used it a couple of times. Like once or twice. Don't recall why I was reluctant to use it.

But I do remember trying to save up to get the exoskeleton upgrade followed by servo upgrade for sprint.

i still rmbr there was one mutant who can pull u over and thn push u away..

tht was really annoying..

Burers - single is manageable, multiple? run like hell.

if more thn one..is going to get fucking ridiculous..

constantly getting pulled and pushed away like a doll..

I dunno if immersive or not, but valheim is addicting.

am not sure, but exodus is bit shorter than i expected.

dead space for the immersion, fuh that user interface design, still one of the best until now

the health bar at the back of the suit was really a great idea

dont think SOMA is scary, and it aint really a FPS, gameplay might put some ppl off, walking simulator kot..

but the story about consciousness and extending humanity by any means is interesting

Yeah. The existential crisis part is more an effect on me. But the eerie and hopelessness in the game helps you feel the dread.
