i think it's worth to wait cause i'm waiting for this new macbook too.. plan to get it on February 2009, just after MacWorld 2009. Since the new macbook rumors to be release on august or september.. give it sometime for new product to "matured" first. Matured here means they fix all the bug and errors, normally new product comes with a lot of bug and errors.

i wonders how is the power plug for Malaysian market will look like, is it 3-pins plug like other MY electrical appliances or 2-pins plug like US electrical appliances (i.e: iPhone charger)

p/s: never own MB/MBP before

it's becoz of oxidation. Sure will change color, later on the shiny look will changed to dull color. Our atmosphere full of oxigen gas, when metal such copper, aluminium, silver, gold etc direct expose to oxigen for a long period, the oxidation will happen. It is natural process for metal.

4Al (aluminium) + 3O2 (oxigen in our atmosphere) --> 2Al2 O3 (oxidation layer formed)

2Al2 O3 is the oxidation layer which will look dull n not shiny

that explain how a single block of ALU with no paint or coat changed color. BTW, i tot IKlear mean for LCD/Glass cleaning purpose or maybe for polycarbonate surface cleaning, am i wrong?

the problems is the polish solution itself, i 'm not sure whether iKlear suitable or not bcoz it is intended for glass/lcd surface not metal, the only cure for metal oxidation i knew is plasma cleaning

IMO, the sweaty hand will cause contamination, all those daki2 melekat, so the thing will look lil bit darker

its applied to all kind of metal including aluminium alloy man, the formula just illustrate how oxidation happen. What the prupose of make it alloy? it's to strengthen the material structure not to make it resist to oxidation. The only thing to stop oxidation is coat.
