This i'm not sure but from what i see bootcamp offers 5G at start and 32GB and the other which is divide equally <- which i think you would opt for this then.

I was about to do the same thing. but it is a complicated process....

If you want someone to do it for you it is going to cost  a lot. MBP is not like MB where HDD replacement is as simple as 1 2 3 tongue.gif (ok not that simple but it is easy to follow)

1) i am planning to upgrade to 320gb as this is the max size of 2.5" HDD available in the market here.
2) I am not sure as i plan to do it myself. maybe you can ask the aple stores.
3) a 320gb HDD would probably cost around RM400 while the service of changing it may vary
4) use time machine for your mac. can just restore to your current machine by popping up leopard disk and restore from time machine. For your vista, if it is bootcamp i think you might need to find some software for mac that backs up your bootcamp partition. Or just install it again when you restore your mac smile.gif

Thanks chizzu.. notworthy.gif thumbup.gif

When you say complicated? What do you mean.. any links or guide?
Pls fo share with us once you have done it. When you will try?

4) What do you mean "popping up leopard disk"? You mean backup leopard into a CD or DVD?
How about data? can you use time machine too.. you hv to copy to some other HD right.?? Sorry new to time machine.

just thot maybe i can keep the original HD and make it into external HD for use with casing (firwire). So i have backup that way.. can do?
